Born in Sarajevo, Zlatan received his formal training at the Academy of Fine Arts, Sarajevo. His professional breakthrough came in 2001 with a four-artist exhibition at Richmond Hill Gallery, launching a career that has since grown to international prominence. Now living and working in London, he continues to work within the Impressionist tradition, often using a nuanced contre-jour approach to light that gives his paintings their luminous, backlit quality.
