Yvonne Mareschal (French, 1897-1987) striking oil painting on wood panel of a waterside landscape - a horse grazing by the creekside. Signed lower right. Mareschal's works are held by the Bordeaux Museum of Fine Arts, and he exhibited at the Salon des Independants in Bordeaux in 1928, and the Salon des Tuileries (1923 to 1962). Artwork in custom gold beaded frame measures 15.5" x 20.5". Artwork and frame in very good condition.
