World War II era felt window banner produced for the United States Military Academy at West Point. The design is printed in a rich golden yellow palette, accented with red, white, blue, rust, and green, all set against a black felt ground that provides striking visual contrast. The central patriotic emblem presents a stylized and elongated interpretation of the Great Seal of the United States, retaining its core motifs while reimagining their proportions and form. Thirteen stars arc gently above an extended, flowing red, white, and blue banner bearing the Latin motto E Pluribus Unum (“out of many, one”). The eagle grasps arrows in its proper right talon and an olive branch in its proper left, with its head turned toward the arrows—a detail often associated with wartime imagery. Banner mounted in vintage gilded, wood frame measures 15.5" x 12.5". Under glass. Flag has great patina. Frame in good, antique condition with light scattered wear.
