Vintage Pine Tree flag mounted on taupe cloth. This flag was used by New England naval vessels in the late 18th century as defiance against British timber restrictions. Flag in oval wood frame with gilded liner measures 11.5" x 13.5". Mounted under glass. Flag and frame have scattered age appropriate wear but display beautifully.
