Tony Rosati (American, 21st c.) monotype Yellow Hills landscape in gold frame. Signed and dated lower right. Artwork in frame measures 13.25" x 11.5". Artwork and frame have very light scattered wear but display beautifully. 

Tony Rosati is a distinguished printmaker and educator who has spent many years as a professor of printmaking at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA), where he also served as Chair of the Printmaking Department. He earned his MFA in Printmaking from Tyler School of Art at Temple University and his BA in Fine Arts from Rider College (now Rider University).

Before dedicating himself fully to teaching and his own artistic practice, Rosati spent nine years as a curatorial assistant with the renowned Lessing J. Rosenwald Collection of rare books and prints, now part of the collections of the National Gallery of Art and the Library of Congress. He has shared his expertise on the history of printmaking through numerous lectures and presentations, and his artwork can be found in private collections and major public institutions, including the James A. Michener Museum, Woodmere Art Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Library of Congress, and the National Gallery of Art.
