Ruth Dawes Wilcox (American, 1908-1989) mid century American ship portrait oil painting on canvas titled Full Rigger on the reverse. Wilcox was the daughter of artists Ray Wilcox and Ruth Turner Wilcox, fashion illustrator and fashion editor of Women's Wear Daily from 1910-1915. Artwork in contemporary gold wood frame measures 27.25" x 31.25". Signed lower right. Artwork and frame in very good condition.
