Richard Derby Tucker (American, 1903-1979) color-filled abstracted still life watercolor painting. Tucker was born in New York City in 1903, where he studied at the Art Students League and was later represented by the Frank Rehn Gallery. He was also a founding member of the Maine Coast Artists in Rockport. Artwork and beautifully grained, custom wood frame are in very good condition with light wear including one small touched up chip at the bottom edge.
