A very well done oil painting on canvas board portrait of three attentive hunting hounds against a pastoral background done in the manner of John Emms (British, 1843-1912). Each hound's personality is skillfully expressed. Artwork in gilt frame with ornate acanthus detailing measures 18" x 24". Artwork in very good condition with only light wear. Frame in good condition with light wear, and scattered repairs to stable cracks.
