Marian D. Harris (American, 1904-1988) watercolor portrait of a seated female polishing her nails. Signed lower right, and dated (1950 or 1960). Harris was a student of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA) in Philadelphia. Additionally, she studied with Hugh Breckenridge in Gloucester, MA, and Wayman Adams in Elizabethtown, NJ. Artwork in lightly gilded wood frame measures 26.25" x 21.25". Artwork and frame in very good condition with only light wear. Last photos are a few of Harris' auction sale prices.
