Marian D. Harris (American, 1904-1988) watercolor portrait of a reclined nude female. Signed lower right. Harris was a student of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA) in Philadelphia. Additionally, she studied with Hugh Breckenridge in Gloucester, MA, and Wayman Adams in Elizabethtown, NJ. Artwork in custom gold frame measures 24" x 28.75". Artwork and frame in very good condition with only light wear. Label from the McClees Gallery in Bryn Mawr, PA on the reverse. McClees was the first gallery in America to represent Mary Cassatt while she lived in France. Last photos are a few of Harris' auction sale prices.
