Marian D. Harris (American, 1904-1988) watercolor still life painting of lemons, pears and grapes alongside a pitcher sitting on a draped, floral tablecloth. Harris was a student of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts (PAFA) in Philadelphia. Additionally, she studied with Hugh Breckenridge in Gloucester, MA, and Wayman Adams in Elizabethtown, NJ. Signed and marked "AWS" (American Watercolor Society) at lower right. Artwork in wood frame with gilded liner measures 18.25" x 22.25". Artwork and frame in very good condition with light, age appropriate wear. Last two photos are a few of Harris's auction results.
