Katherine Yates (British, 20th century) acrylic, impressionist painting on board of a young woman in a large straw hat picking sea lavendar in a colorful coastal landscape. Titled "Mariel Picking Sea Lavendar." Signed and dated 1984 on the reverse. An exhibition label from the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 1985 is also attached. Artwork in frame measures 10.5" x 13.5". Artwork and intentionally distressed gold wood frame are both in very good condition with light wear.
