An oil painting on board by Jack Cross (British, 20th century) of a sunny day on a sheep farm. Stucco'ed farmhouses and a gray barn nestled in the flat between hillsides. The artist's expert use of light makes the animals and structures appear as if they are almost projecting off the board. A spectacular piece. Artwork in oak frame with gilt liner measures 16.25" x 19.25". Artwork in very good condition with only minor wear. Frame in good condition with light scratches.
