An oil on canvas by Florence Prince Ewing (American, 1898-1965) of a lively and colorful farm landscape. There is so much story and color happening in this piece. It is exceptional. Dogs barking, ducks waddling, rambling farmhouses, a lucky guy relaxing in the shade of a large oak tree. The shadows and depth are wonderful. Signed and dated 1947 at lower right, and on back. The art in frame measures 26.25" x 30.25". There is one small area of loss on the the red roof, otherwise, the painting is in very good, vintage condition. Gold, solid wood frame is new.
