Edmund Jordan (American / Pennsylvania, 20th century) colorful impressionist oil painting on board depicting a canoe and Sunfish about to launch from a dynamic shoreline. Signed lower right. Titled September Afternoon, Lake Galena. Jordan was a master of light and water, as is evident in this piece. Jordan favored the East Coast, painting from Cape May, NJ up through Cape Cod and the shores of Maine.
