Early - mid 20th century oil on board painting of a dachshund and a terrier patiently waiting for a sleeping kitten on a canary yellow mailbox to wake. Beautifully composed, and finely done. Artwork in thick, gilded and floral carved solid wood frame measures 16" x 14". Signed lower left; signature is partially obscured by framing, but it reads "C. Haag". Artwork in very good, age appropriate condition.
