Blanche Rothschild (1893-1988) was a noted New York painter and fashion illustrator. Among her commissions was McCall's Magazine. Works by Rothschild are in the permanent collection of the Museum of Women Artists in Washington, D.C.. Signed at lower right. Artwork in original, ornately carved and scalloped gold frame measures 6.5" x 5.75". Artwork and frame both in good, vintage condition with age appropriate wear.
