19th century watercolor coastal scene attributed to Thomas Bush Hardy (British, 1842-1897). Soldiers on horseback rest at the shoreline. Hardy, a marine watercolorist, was elected as a Member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1884. He exhibited with the Society, and also at the Royal Academy. Artwork in original gilded wood frame measures 15.25" x 20". Artwork and frame in good, antique condition with minor scattered wear (small chips to frame).
