Vintage 48 star American flag mounted on duck cloth. Sourced in coastal Maine. The 48 star flag was in use from July 4, 1912 - July 3, 1959. Flag in a custom, gilded wood frame with lambs tongue detailing measures 10.5" x 12.5". Under glass. Flag has great patina. Frame in very good, antique condition with light scattered wear.
