19th century memorial watercolor painting. The memorial reads "For(?) the birthday of my dear Mother / February 22, 1825." The bottom of the monument is signed "Josiah C. Beitel. Weeping willows and a park-like scene fill background. Records included on the back indicate that this work is from Nazareth, Pennsylvania, and it was exhibited in the Lancaster (PA) Museum Show.Artwork in frame measures 17.5" x 13.25". Artwork is in good, antique condition - the colors are vibrant. Frame is new.
