19th century oil on board portrait of a distinguished gentleman in a tuxedo. In original, 19th century gold, wood frame. Artwork in frame measures 16.25" x 12.25". A note on the back indicates that the painting was cleaned in September 1938. Both artwork and frame in good, antique condition. Painting has light craquelure. Frame has scattered light marks, and smalls chips, but overall in very good condition for its age. Displays beautifully.
