A 19th century Continental seascape oil painting on board depicting a towering castle / fortress teetering above a rocky sea. A boat and snow capped mountain range in the distance. The piece is surrounded by a massive, ornate, antique gilded and carved wood frame. Artwork in frame measures 14.25" x 16.5". Artwork and frame are in very good, age appropriate condition. The painting has minor spots of loss at right corners.
