A mid 19th century American school oil painting on canvas of a woman in a lace bonnet and collar fastened with a jeweled brooch. There is a decoration in the top left corner almost resembling fireworks. Very finely done. Artwork in frame measures 28.75" x 24.75". Artwork is in very good, antique condition with scattered small touchups and light craquelure. Modern gold wood beaded frame is also in very good condition.
