A 19th century oil painting on board of a dirt path cut through the forest to reveal sailboats on a lake. Dated 1887 on the back. Other illegible notes on the back - potentially the artist's name. It is framed in a detail-filled carved frame with gilded rope liner. Artwork in frame measures 13" x 16". The frame is in good, antique condition with scattered wear; one small portion of the gold rope liner is missing and has been touched up. The painting itself is in good, antique condition.
