19th century hand colored bookplate engraving from James Sowerby's (English, 1757-1852) book English Botany (1790). Engraving mounted on Lee Jofa "Tara" fabric. Artwork in vintage, gold frame measures 15.5" x 13.25". Artwork and frame both in very good condition with light, age appropriate wear.
