1940 silk and wool sampler packed with colorful motifs including a large framed seascape with sailboat at center, flower-filled urns and vases, a vine border, and a house in landscape at the bottom edge. Dated 1940 at center. Sampler in antique, grained wood frame measures 15.5" x 18". Sampler and frame in very good condition. One small chip to top right corner of frame.
