An oil on canvas painting done by well known Pennsylvania artist Victor Shearer (American, 1872-1951). A grassy path cuts through a row of trees revealing the water of a lake or river beyond it. Shearer is known for his depictions of the Pennsylvania countryside. Signed and dated 1936 at lower left. Artwork in frame measures 13.5" x 11.75".
