Elisabeth Schiott (Danish, 1856-1938) well done oil on canvas landscape of the far side of a coastal bluff. Monogram at lower left. Dated 1933 on the reverse. Schiott studied at the Laurits Tuxens Art School, and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen from 1889-1891. She was a student of famous Danish artist Julius Paulsen at the Royal Academy of Art. She frequently traveled to Holland, Paris and Sweden to paint. Artwork in original, thick, gold wood frame measures 23" x 26.5". Artwork and frame are in good condition with light, age appropriate scattered wear.
