Antique La Jeune Fille Aux Joues Roses pochoir art deco lady portrait. It is titled La Jeune Fille Aux Joues Roses / Chapeau, de Camille Roger. It is Plate 35 from Gazette du Bon Ton, Volume 1, No. 5. An edition of this plate is held by the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Pochoir is a refined French stencil-based printmaking technique, popular in the early 20th century, used to create detailed, layered, and colored prints, often using gouache or watercolor applied with a specialized brush called a "pompon". Unlike simple stenciling, this labor-intensive process involves creating, by hand, individual, precise stencils for every single color. Artwork in antique, art deco gold frame measures 15.5" x 12.5".
