Johan Ulrik Bredsdorff (Danish, 1845 - 1928) oil on canvas bay landscape featuring a hilly, sandy dune and white houses dotting the waterline. Dated 1921, and signed at lower right. Artwork in original gold wood frame measures 14" x 29.75". Bredsdorff exhibited internationally, including at the World Fair in Chicago in 1893, as well as at the world famous Charlottenborg in Copenhagen, Denmark. He was a student of Vilhelm Kyhn, and was a close friends of Godfred Berry Wildenradt Christensen. Artwork in very good condition. Frame in very good, age appropriate condition with light, scattered wear and minor losses.
