Painter and illustrator, notably of historical subjects, born in Aberdeen, Scotland. Reid studied at Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen, and Royal Scottish Academy Schools in Edinburgh. Reid went on to live in London. His illustrations were used forseveral including children’s and fairytales books.
