Percy Thomas (English , 1846-1922) English country landscape watercolor painting in gold frame. Signed lower left. Dated 1893. Artwork in custom, vintage gold frame measures 16.25" x 19.5". Frame has scattered age appropriate wear but displays beautifully.
Percy Thomas was elected Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers in 1881 and exhibited at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Dudley Gallery Art Society, Royal Academy of Arts, Royal Society of British Artists, Royal Institute of Oil Painters and at the Art Gallery. Several etchings by Thomas are in the collections of the Ashmolean Museum, Auckland Art Gallery, New Zealand and the V&A.
