Born in Boston and raised on Cape Cod, his early exposure to coastal landscapes shaped a lifelong interest in wildlife and nature. After studying art, literature, and languages at the State University of New York, he worked as a natural history illustrator and participated in ornithological research across North America.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"449\" data-end=\"799\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eRizos has received numerous artist residencies and visiting artist appointments, including at Acadia National Park and the Adirondack Park Visitor Interpretive Centers.
